Italy (Pisa & Florence)

First stop, Pisa. A hole. Very unfriendly, very unsafe.
Stay in groups of people you know. Hang on to your bags, tight.

The cute tourist shot.
A moment in time where one could concentrate on something other than personal security.

This shot taken from the Ponte Vecchio, Florence's oldest bridge
and one of only four in Europe that have shops on them.

Duomo. The world's 4th largest cathedral. Named Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore
it was begun in 1294 and took 150 years to complete.
Behind me is a small baptistry build between 400Ad and 1100AD
and is regarded as the oldest building in Italy. It has gold doors called the Gates of Paradise.

I lost my map - anyone got the name of the Piazza we're in here? The church behind me was Sante Croce.

A view from the site of the group photo. The Ponte Vecchio bridge can be seen in the background.

The group photo carpark shot to rival all carpark photos.

A little upstream from the the Ponte Vecchio which is just around to the right.

The group dinner in Florence. Almost everyone there - lovely service, people, food...
and of course, watered down wine.

Just for gags, ever taken a photo of someone taking a photo of you?
It's a good game, but if they are using a flash, timing can be everything.

Dodgey Space Electronic Niteclub - where drinks make you broke,
and there are Piranhas in tanks under the bar.
